The AMR Accelerator: from individual organizations to efficient antibiotic development partnerships

The AMR Accelerator is a program of the Innovative Medicines Initiative that combines nine initiatives with the common objective of advancing the creation of novel antibiotics and strengthening the capacity for research on antimicrobial resistance. After five years, we evaluate the program’s worth, outcomes, and main difficulty—maintaining the sustainability of the resources, infrastructure, and knowledge.
